I do not have an opinion on the McKinsley selection. I do have an opinion on how much weight we should give the public statements of any college head coach evaluating his former players at draft time. I do want to hear what the coach has to say. But I expect a totally different level of candor from what, say, Nick Saban might have told Bill Belichick in a private conversation about an LSU player in a prior draft.

Understand…..but he hit on such specifics. That’s not coach speak.

I'm not a fan either but he does know his players and they usually are very pro ready. I'll listen too.

I'm also just very glad we stayed away from UTSA and Houston lol. Even tho I'd have not hated Patrick Paul.

Saban might be the best coach of defensive secondary ever. Kool-Aid played a lot of snaps for him, so I know he will be prepared from a mental standpoint.
