Both were hot shot coordinators in there first gig, then publicly demoted (lost play calling duties vs fired). Both then rebuilt their playcalling reputation in the NFC East.

Difference is Payton got 3 years of tutelage under Parcells. Moore's HCs since his firing have been less impressive.

And then I know nothing about Moore's leadership and organizational qualities compared to Payton.
