NFL Draft What WR do you like in this year’s draft? (3 Viewers)

Now that Thomas looks to be gone , do you think we draft a WR with first pick or wait later in draft. One thing is for sure the draft is very rich in receivers as always. Who do you like? I like Nabors but he will be gone unless he drops or we can trade up. If we can get Xavier Worthy from Texas that would be a great pick up. Who is your choice or choices for WR is this year draft?

I'd like as many receivers to go before 14 so that a great player would fall to 14. I honestly think we have enough young receivers. Perry, Shaheed, and Olave are all very young receivers who need snaps. While we can use a developmental guy, I'm not sure I'd invest a high pick on one unless the value is too good to pass on.

I like many of them, but if I had to pick, then it’s a toss up between Nabors or Odunze.

I just don't think the draft will set up for us to select a WR with our 1st, and that's probably a good thing. It's another insanely deep class. IF one we love falls in our lap for the 2nd RD, then so be it. Otherwise the scouting dept needs to flex their muscles and find us a gem in the mid rounds, some will surely be there.

Hopefully, the Saints wait to take a WR. That first round pick has to count this year. Could have first round WR talent fall to the second round.

McConkley if he is available on the second round. He has really good acceleration out of his breaks. And has some YAC ability.

Where i was gonna go with this. He shakes coverage pretty effortlessly in the quick game. Role for his skill set here

Outside of the top guys some of my personal favorites are Ladd McConkey and Malik Washington.

McConkey is by far the best route runner in the draft and Washington gives me Steve Smith Sr vibes.

Neither will probably by a true #1 but they will definitely be contributors.

I don’t think it’s a major position of need, but I wouldn’t mind Luke McCaffrey with one of our fifth rounders to take on a true slot role … a younger, cheaper version of Hunter Renfrow, who worked well with Carr with Raiders on slant routes
