Armstead injury update (1 Viewer)

Underhill stating “best linemen”, automatically disqualifies him from being an unbiased reporter. Best = best on the field on a regular basis. (IE; Rymczyk). And Armstead is far from being on the field regularly.

OL now either 1st round draft picks or UDFAs.
Peat - 1st
Ruiz - 1st
Ram - 1st
Throckmorton - UDFA
Hurst - UDFA
Crazy.

Thank you Super44. I was bout to point that out. He is the third best lineman on team now. But it dont really matter hes never healthy.

Hes great when he plays, but N.O should not resign him under any circumstances. Let some other team pay for him. Rather the Saints spend that coin on resigning Marcus Williams and maybe work an extension for Ceedy.

Looks like the injury bug might have found us this year.
At least (so far - knock wood) we haven't had any season ending injuries, and we're suffering through this early in the season against opponents who aren't as tough as what's coming later in the season.
Maybe the injury bug will have tired of messing with us by our bye week, and move on to torture Tampa and Carolina, leaving us healthy for the rest of the regular season and the playoffs. (y)

People aren't cattle.
How'd you get that from my statement? He's one of the highest paid OL in the league and I can't remember the last time he played a full season. He needs to be paid according to what he can offer and has offered.

Dude...

This is why I have no problem letting him walk next season unless we get a nice discount on salary, which I know we won't.
Armstead gives it all man. He always tries to comes back as quick as he can to be there for his teammates. If you think the fans are upset, just imagine what he feels like. I don't think this man has had a pain free year since his 1st injury. I know the most important ability is availability but when he is available, even if not fully 100%, he is top 3 at his position. That being said, seems like whenever we get rid of an often injured player, he seems to always be available for his next team. I think Armstead is HOF good and I'd hate to see him go, but I get what you're saying.

Agree 100%

Last season if you don't count the 2 regular season games he missed due to COVID. 14/16 in the regular season and 2/2 in the postseason.

I didn't notice any big drop off when after he went out. If anything, that 7-8 minute drive in the 4th was the best line performance of the season. I'm fine with Hurst being there while TA heals up.

3 Oct 21 against the Giants, that should be won. 10 Oct 21 against the Team from Washington., that should be won. Then the Saints have a bye week. After the bye week, there should be allot of players returning. Just make it to the bye week. Not panicking just yet.

Dude is a warrior, sucks he got hurt again, I think it was a collusion with his own teammate?

Would hate to see him in another jersey, I see him and Ram as the best at their respective positions....
