The forgone conclusion is Williams is #1 but his film wasn't overly impressive. This past season, on tape, his best game is probably against the worst defense he faced this season (Colorado). Warner said that Williams playmaking was awesome. Quarterbacking? Not as much. Daniels and Penix were most consistent on film and in terms of actual quarterbacking, I think he has Penix on top.
I feel you on injury but his tape is better than Williams this season. We see Williams running around after missing reads and then makes a great throw but Warner was looking at actual quarterbacking. What can you do "on schedule" and in the pocket. Penix is probably the best out of the bunch in that regards.He has some very bad tape also. Add the injury history to that and to me he’s a 2nd round pick at best.
