Strange pick. The Saints secondary is fairly deep but DA for all his many, many shortcomings is very good at evaluating DB talent. Giving up as much draft capital as they did to up a few spots was ……odd.

Reach for a RT in the top half of the 1st, then trade up for a CB when you have Latt, Adebo, and Taylor in the slot.
