Now he has a few years to rest!!! Dude gonna have a hard time trying to convince anyone to give him another shot.

This actually gives a chance to reset. I never thought he should have been taken that high but like I said before, some people look at everything but the ability to play QB. He should use this demotion as motivation and focus on the fundamentals, because actual skill at QB is making a comeback..lol

That’ll go down as one of the worst picks in recent drafts. You take a dude that wasn’t good in college and had very little starting experience and take him 4th overall. That was a massive overreaction to their QB woes.

Just proof that teams draft for traits. For every Richardson there's a Josh Allen who does develop. For every Martez Wilson or Stephone Anthony there's a Demario Davis. Traits and athletic talent will get you drafted higher than guys who don't have them because if you ever get the mental to line up w/ the physical their upside is going to be higher.

Seeing as though he was never good in college and it’s transitioned over to the NFL, he’s a bust. He can’t consistently throw the football. He has no touch on his passes and is always throwing every ball likes he’s throwing it through the eye of a storm.

He only started like 15 games in college….Guys like Mayfield and Darnold were ‘busts’ too, and now are playing really good football. Jordan Love didn’t even start a game in the NFL until he was 24 and there was bust talk his first two seasons as well.

AR has played terribly, dont get me wrong, but way too early to declare the guy a bust.

I’ve seen worse like QBs casually flipping the ball to the other team at their own one yard line. One play isn’t going to define this kid. Flacco gives them the best chance to win right now, but I doubt Indy has any plans to trade or give up on Richardson. If they are, and Loomis got him here for cheap would you be against it?

It's that draft amnesia. The same people in this thread talking now will be talking about how the Saints just need to take a QB in the 1st in May regardless of what the class looks like.

I said it before and I’ll say it again, whoever had the idea to draft AR-15 won’t be employed before the end of his 1st contract. Dude is not good.

NFL Draft - Anthony Richardson could very well be in play if Saints land a late 1st for Payton.

You say Allen likes mobile QB's but he shut down Hill at QB early on. I'm not sure what to make of Allen's wants in QB's. Winston was known for making throws out of the pocket and he shut down Winston as soon as he had an excuse to. All bets are off with Allen.

Send him to a place like GB and watch what happens. Some guys are just not ready. Willis looks like a completely different guy now in Green Bay. He didn't have enough college experience but his measurables are off the charts. I don't think it's an accident that a guy like Jayden is playing so well after 55 starts in college.
