The winning is going to cost us, it’s bittersweet. It’s one of the reasons I wanted to keep Allen. It would have secured us more losses.

It’s one of those things where firing Allen will actually hurt us long term. He wouldn’t have been HC at end of season anyway

I definitely understand your point but losing is like a virus and it spreads, creating more losing and more losers. Losing for the hopes of a better future is still losing and its no guarantee your higher draft pick will yield better results. I'd rather fight, close, and scratch for every win and instill a culture of perseverance and tenacity. I definitely see your point, I'd just prefer to win.

Yep. Still a bad team, but Rizzi at least has them playing better than Allen did.

They're certainly winning more because they are finishing games, but i'm not sure they are really playing better overall. They did against Atlanta, but today was a pretty horrible display of football in every phase of the game.

Was thinking the same. Crazy some of the bizarre ways teams in the 2-10 realm lose.

They're certainly winning more because they are finishing games, but i'm not sure they are really playing better overall. They did against Atlanta, but today was a pretty horrible display of football in every phase of the game.

I mean, they were playing the Giants...and the offense misses Hill, like, a lot. They we competitive against the Rams and I think that game took a bit of the wind out of their sails. But let's see how they respond next week against a decent Commanders team.

Commanders had terrible drafts before this year if i recall right.

And they were terrible for like 30 years before they finally got it right. And it's yet to be seen if either can sustain it. Campbell is going to have a big challenge after Johnson and Glenn get HC jobs.
