WR Tet McMillan as the Saints pick at #9?

Its hard for me to imagine it. I suspect when it comes to playmakers we want guys who make plays between the numbers and/or close to the LOS. This means Oline, RB and to an extent TE. WR is off on the sideline and I haven't seen a whole lot of focus compared to between the numbers when it comes to Moore's offenses. To put a further reason I'm having trouble seeing it, I just don't have faith in our QB's for constant mid to long success.

Maybe it'll happen. IDK. If its the best pick, then its the best pick. But I imagine Jeanty or Warren would give us bigger playmaking ability between the numbers. But it does make sense from an "open the field" standpoint, cause right now Olave and Shaheed aren't exactly every down big threats.

Hell to the YES!!! If TMac’s the dude at 9, id be ecstatic. He’s been one of the top guys on my RD1 wishlist. Im also all for Mike Green, Walter Nolan, Nick Emmanwori & Will Johnson.

Will not be mad at all if that’s the pick, he is going to be a great pro I feel it. However I think for this roster we’d be better off going corner or best DL/OL available. Continue to build through the trenches and everything else becomes little easier.

No! Lack of separation.
I will say that I have seen him struggle at times when the corners play press and are a little physical with him at the line, but I wouldn’t say I’ve consistently seen an issue in regards to separation. A lot of people are comparing him to Drake London, and I think that’s a pretty good comp.

You every see him play bro? I think hes aas good as a prime Mike Evans right now and thats a good comp for him, a faster more agile Mike Evans
i have watched his highlight video. i just wasn't overly enamored for some reason. not sure why. tall, makes good contested catches, just not sure i'm seeing elite worth of a top 10 pick. i could be wrong.

There are a lot of 5'9 & taller RB that were very successful in the NFL.
There aren't nearly as many 5'8 & shorter RB that were successful NFL.

Jeanty may be a Barry Sanders or not...
We will see...

I can tell you this from being old enough to having watched Barry Sanders play football,
he was exciting & he broke many 20+ yard runs but when the game was on the line & the
Lions needed a yard or two, he struggled against a loaded box...
Yeah it's the same issue people had w/ Bowers last year. There's not a lot of TE's his size that have had success so it was him vs history. He won, but that's not the norm. You can think of a handful of backs Jeanty's size that have had overall success in the last 20 years. Maurice Jones Drew, Mark Ingram, Deangelo Williams and perhaps a handful of others.

Barry Sanders while 5'9 was also around in a league where the players weren't as big, weren't as fast, etc. 5'9 205lbs was actually great size for a RB back then. Those guys are seen as tweeners now. I'd say 5'11 215 is probably the ideal size these days.

i could be wrong.

I think it’s as simple as there’s not 10 dudes better than him in this draft. It’s a deep draft but not top heavy, especially at WR

Welp. So much for this being the pick.

He’s been infected by the Curse of Cam.
