At this point, I would like Tyler Warren. We need that TE that can open it up and catch and run. Haven't had that since Graham.

I agree but these new Sean Payton era fans about to act like they played football before in their lives. Stick to Madden boysIt would be the best move this franchise could possibly make. It would fire up the fan base a la Reggie Bush/Ricky Williams. It also just makes sense with Kamara being over 30. Nothing opens up the passing game more than a loaded backfield. This may not be the popular opinion on here, but I don’t see how we could pass that up if he falls in our lap.
Had to see it to beleieve itReggie was just different. His stats were not a reflection of his contributions to the team. When that stadium was packed and chanting Reggie Reggie Reggie, you could just feel the electricity in the building. Momentum is a big deal in football.
Kamara will be 30 before the season starts and there is no denying that he has lost a step.
It can be debated that a solid run game is key and maybe the most important factor to opening up the passing game with play action.
Nothing opens up a backfield like a legitimate passing game. I get the point, I don't disagree...but we've seen what happens when teams don't respect the passing game and can key on the RB.
I'd be fine w/ the selection but I agree w/ some of the other takes. Drafting a RB high or signing one should be for teams that need the cherry on top. That missing piece like w/ what the Eagles did last year. Have their QB, have their WR, their OL...just needed a special back. If you draft an RB before you have those things in place it's so easy to use up his prime years while trying to build. Before you know it he's taken 800 carries and is headed into his 2nd contract w/ less juice on a short shelf life and starting to get injured a bit more. It almost explains why the Giants let Barkley walk. Though they are kicking themselves, it was ultimately the right thing to do (like the blackjack theory in the other threaD) because had he stayed in NY he would have had a similar year to the one before. Same thing for Derrick Henry...he was the Ravens cherry on top...but had he stayed in Tennessee we'd still be talkinga bout how washed he looks.
That's opinion that I subscribe to and yet again...I wouldn't hate the move.tbis an absolutely sane take.
This is an absolutely sane take. This actually changes my opinion.Nothing opens up a backfield like a legitimate passing game. I get the point, I don't disagree...but we've seen what happens when teams don't respect the passing game and can key on the RB.

Oh, I can debate whether AK has lost a step. All day. What he lost was an OL, a HOF QB and a scheme.Reggie was just different. His stats were not a reflection of his contributions to the team. We need to stop waiting for it to be a need that’s how we end up here lolRB isn't our biggest need.
I would take Graham, Mcmillan, or Warren before I would select Jeanty.
I will die on the hill, that SP did not know how to use Reggie in the run game. He did know how to use him in the passing game. Plus, he would let Reggie return punts. Good thing we found a stud in PT, that helped SP look like a genius. It would be the best move this franchise could possibly make. It would fire up the fan base a la Reggie Bush/Ricky Williams. Speaking to a friend of mine yesterday I mentioned to him that if Jeanty was Available he would be would be the smart choice due to the name recognition of a Reggie Bush, if he’s not available, I say we pick an offensive lineman to bolster the office of line. My pic would be the kid from LSU.It would be the best move this franchise could possibly make. It would fire up the fan base a la Reggie Bush/Ricky Williams. I think all three Players are gone before the ninth pick, they’re just too good for everyone in front of us to pass on, even Jeanty for that matter.RB isn't our biggest need.

What you're describing is winning. Nobody cares about Reggie if we never had Brees. A winning football team brings electricity to the building.Reggie was just different. Bro, we re-signed the edge God in Chase Young. #sacksznloadingWe need edge rushers for the 3-4 defense; the linebacker from Georgia would be a better pick than Jenty at the point; we have depth at running back and get at that position group in rounds 2-7.
