Milroe is a RSJR. He doesn't meet the Saints usual criteria for drafting QB's. Lord Moore's opinion could change that but I wouldn't bet on them drafting him.

I looked on NFL draft buzz and his ADP amongst 8 draft services in march is anywhere from 59 to 96 which is late 2nd to late 3rd.I would be shocked if he's anything more then a Day 3 pick. I would have to guess 6th or 7th round. I also wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he becomes a UDFA.
Running the ball? He's good in college and there's a decent chance it won't translate well to the NFL, if at all. Lets also not forget he's a QB who throws about as accurate as some of my 13 year old softball pitchers.

You could be right about him being lower but I think at worst he goes 4th round.
It’s a better project than Ian book and Jake haener who some wanted to startSaints can't afford projects, everyone contributes this season. If you take him, you're putting in Taysom plays and asking him to throw it every once in awhile if you get the look you like. Maybe you get lucky and he develops into a decent to good passer overtime.
I would take Milroe as a “project” QB any day. Sure he has some things to work on, but that guy would be willing to put in the work. Love his mindset, love what his mom/dad has instilled in him, and I love how intensely he plays. He’s a weapon and I would never sneeze at adding a weapon. Don’t care where they are lined up. If they are dangerous, then that only helps us out. This is coming from an Alabama hater btw. Once a player leaves that school, I can root for them. There's no way I could say no thanks to a guy with Milroe's athletic ability. If we're talking mid rounds then I'd absolutely love to add a weapon like that to the offense. I'm thinking of him as a Taysom type of player. A Weapon X that you move around and do unique things with. As a pure QB I'm not drafting him early but again, I'd take a chance on him in the mid rounds just on principle. The guy would be one of the fastest QBs in the league day one.
I know a lot of people take issue with calling QBs a "RB with an arm" and I get it. I'm not going to call him that, instead I'll call him a truly gifted running QB. He also has a cannon. But I've watched him a lot as I'm sure most of you have and he's all over the place as a passer and as a decision maker. It seems like the game moved too fast for him at times in college. If that's a problem in college it isn't going to get better in the league where he'll see LBers and Edge guys that are as fast as some of the DBs he went up against in college.
I find myself in a strange position here but I'm rooting for the kid despite the fact the he went to bama. He seems like a really good dude and bama fans were so cruel to him. He caught hell over the past few years. He's fun to watch and I wish him well.
Question...how are the hands measured? It’s a weird situation because they measured his hands again and they’re actually 9 3/8”.
Still a bit small but much more average than the sub 9 he had.
From thumb to pinky with the fingers fully spread.Question...how are the hands measured?
