Mock Draft [Simulators] Compilation Thread - 2025 NFL Draft

Here's another one. I really like this one, but I wish I had gotten a safety somewhere in there. I've been trying to address needs without reaching. I didn't plan on this but it came out with five offense and five defensive players. I took one trade that gave me the extra pick at 76 that I took Skattebo with. I only had to drop three spots to 12 and still got Tet McMillan.

If there’s a better mock than this one without trades then I’d love to see it. I don’t think we could hope for better than this.
I have to admit, I like it. I'm kind of up in the air as to what to do at nine, and without knowing who was available there when you picked Tyler, I'll take it.

I've been using NFLdraftbuzz to rank these guys and they have Grant DT average overall rank at 22, so getting a run stuffing monster at 40... you did good man.

Funny thing about your next two picks, I thought you picked Jones too early but you got Stewart later than he should have went, at least according to the site I'm looking at. It says Stewart is a mid-2nd rounder. You got lucky there and I love the picks as they turned out.

As far as the next four of your picks, I've mocked them all myself so I like them a lot. I would like to know who was available when you made the last pick of Armstrong WR from Arkansas. I've mocked his teammate Issac TeSlaa in that spot. IF he was available I'd take him there but it's the last pick so who cares, right? LOL

The Saints have so many needs there's no way to address all of them in one draft. For instance, you didn't address corner or safety until late in the draft, and it's said we are weak at corner now. But the one guy you got late is a 4.33 40 guy with good size and NFL.com has him ranked at 144 overall. So, the more I think about your picks the more I like them.

I'm not an expert at all, I'm just following the chart, but this is a really fun exercise to get us ready for the draft so we are familiar with some of these later round picks. You never know when you'll find a diamond in the rough.

I firmly believe we need an OT to move Taliese to his natural position of RT and move Penning to OG and figure once and for all if he's going to be serviceable. Not too happy with Shemar Turner, but it was between him and Deone Walker. I really like CJ West out of Indiana but wasn't available.
TF will be fine @ LT there's no reason to after a yr @LT to move him back . TP is not an OG AND it would be a foolish move to make him move to a 2nd new position in 2 yrs. Let the guy develop since he's had 1 yr with a good OL coach and now we have Nugent and Paganetti

I'm not a coach so I don't know if we should move them around or stay pat, but I'm just hoping either way we just get better. I've tried to get at least one really good guard in each of my mocks, thinking that if we get better guard play then that will help Penning out. With all the injuries last season, it's hard to keep up...:saywhat:
