There were some people who said he wasn’t athletic enough to play at this level, which contradicted positives of his scouting profile. It also ignored that he was a small school prospect with a steeper learning curve, and he’s also lost valuable time recovering from lower leg injuries that set him back.
Guy needed coaching and time, and the chance to start improving his skills and building his confidence. The talent was always there, waiting to be untapped.
Patience is often a lost virtue. I hope he continues to improve, helps the team, and puts together a rewarding career.
Oh wow. That was filthy. I feel like I need a shower now. Yikes. At the :40 second mark Fuaga takes out three dudes at the end of the play. Problem was that two of them were his teammates. He simply does not care. If you are close to him you are in danger.
I'm trying to remember the last time I saw a Saints O line this nasty and ill tempered. Drawing a blank here.
Just like 2017 when our OLine rolled the Bills. People will say Kubiak is the difference but it’s winning in the trenches with our bigs….on both sides of the ball.
They get you on skates and maul you, double team you or just use your momentum against you and flatten you.
I am loving this scheme, it really is just one thing we do really well (zone scheme) that we can run the same play over and over again just in different formations, it makes our run game seem diverse but its just how every play starts and you don't know if its a run or a pass.
