1. Khalil Mack, Kyle Van Noy, Vic Beasley, Trent Murphy (available in order)
2. A.J. Johnson - MLB - Tennessee
3. Justin Gilbert - CB - Oklahoma State
4. Jarvis Landry - WR - LSU
5. Brandon Thomas - OG/C - Clemson
6. Ty Zimmerman - S - Kansas State

Opinions welcome

and before anyone says anything about the tackle spot i have 2 points:

1. I think Terron Armstead after a year of learning the system, who looked good in preseason will be our starting LT

2. Strief is playing very well, also Charles Brown has actually looked a lot better in his career playing RT than LT. Even though he was drafted as a pass blocker, which he has been average at, he has excelled as a run blocker.

There is no way Jarvis Landry last past the second round. I would love to see us bring on Kenny Hilliard in the later rounds

would love if one of van noy or mack would fall to us but not sure im nuts about drafting a hybrid olb/de, with galette on the other end id want a pure OLB who can rush the passer but also play a bit of coverage.

not the biggest fan of AJ Johnson but i like the position.

beyond that its prospects i would love to draft at that spot but who wont fall that far probably (at least using the current rankings that are out there)

I'm not buying this Saints mock. I've actually heard of all those schools before. :ezbill:

I would really like to see us take Cairo Santos in the 5th. If we draft towards the end of the 6th he might be gone. Then again, we've got about 8 positions we need to draft off the top of my head and only six picks. Still, I think Santos would be a sure thing.

Is this a draft to move back and get more picks? Or even 2015 picks?

Is football season over? :football:

Too soon for this thread. I think the 49ers are in town this week.

I think all of the players you listed as 1st round options for us will be gone by the time we realistically pick.

I also think Landry will have little to no chance of falling to the 4th round.

Assuming we pick in the 27-32 range, here's my crack at an insanely early Saints mock:

1. Cyril Richardson, OT/G, Baylor

2. LaMarcus Joyner, S, FSU

3. Chaz Sutton, DE/OLB, S. Carolina

4. Trey Millard, FB, Oklahoma

5. Christian Jones, WR/KR, Alabama

6. Andrew Miller, C, Va. Tech
