I'd be great if that happened but I just don't see it. The Falcons technically have a 4 game lead because of division record. They would have to swoon tremendously for the Saints to even have a chance.

Falcons have a nearly insurmountable lead in the division and despite todays results - have been a pretty balanced and solidly coach team.

The next three games for them are at Broncos, Chargers at home and at the Vikings.

They drop those three and we win our next three - Browns, Rams and at Giants - then maybe we have wild times ahead.

Not impossible but sadly, unlikely.

Atlanta would have to lose some key players down the stretch to not just waltz to an NFC South championship. And also the Bucs have a much effective offense & defense than we have. It’s just going to be hard to overcome being behind two teams who have much more talented rosters than we have right now.

That said, I’d love to see that miracle happen. It would be the ‘feel good story’ of the century in the sporting world.

It sounds pretty crazy. But the Browns are just 2-7. They can win that one. Then they have a Bye. Then they have the Rams who are 4-4. The Rams are a pretty good team, but not elite. But by the time the Saints play the Rams, they should have a fully healthy O-line, and the Saints now have actual WRs making catches, so that is also a maybe. Then you have the Giants at 2-8.

Those are all winnable games. If they make that run, it suddenly doesn't sound so crazy.
