The New Orleans Saints are aiming for their first 3-0 start to a season since 2013, and before that, 2009. This year they will have to go through the Philadelphia Eagles to attain that record, which is no easy matchup as they have run all over the Saints in previous years with the mobility of Jalen Hurts and at the time Miles Sanders. Now they have Saquon Barkley on top of that, which makes stopping the run game an even more difficult task.
This will be a tough matchup no doubt, as despite their 1-1 record and loss to the Atlanta Falcons, they still have talent all around the board, and even more motivation to win now. Jalen Hurts, (if he plays) A.J. Brown, Devonta Smith, Lane Johnson, Jalen Carter, Darius Slay, the list goes on, which makes the one to one matchups even more critical for this game as every player who can win a rep over an Eagle gives the Saints a slight bit more advantage.
