Yes Drew wasn't the most accurate QB in the game yesterday... but to drop 6 passes... fumble (not really) on the 1... let Mario freakin Williams look like Dexter Manley in his day... there's some blame to spread around this team, and the position coaches should be all in their osses this week.

47 yards rushing TOTAL... wow... :covri:

One thing that didn't happen much when we were winning was dropped passes. First four games we dropped a lot of passes and we lost. Yesterday we dropped passes and we lost.

I think the two things that have hurts us more 'n anything this year are the dropped balls and a weaker secondary.

The dropped balls almost directly cost us the game yesterday, being as two of them were tipped for INT's in their redzone going in for scores.

Thats not to say we played well, the gampelan was good, payton isn't a goober, etc....but despite all that we probably still win that game without the drops.

Two things the Saints need to do to help chances of winning.....

1. Get some kind of CONSISTENT PASS RUSH EVERY WEEK

2. Whoever has a ball thrown to them, CATCH IT. Don't drop it and/or fumble it away.

I wanted to drive to Houston and puch Eric Johnson in the face after that second one for an INT. Two int's that occured after bouncing off his hands! ARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!! 4-6!!!!!!! (passes out)

One thing that I noticed... just about the ENTIRE second half Drew was either throwing to Reggie or Colston... no mistke in who Drew has the most confidence in. Then again... the other guys need to get open.

We have a ton of FA WRs this offseason... Devery, Copper, Patten... I think everybody not named Colston or Meachem will b a FA. I wonder how much housecleaning they will do at the position.

I don't think too much of a big deal will be made if 19 just goes away. I say keep Patten, he's a winner. I would trade everyone else to see what I could get on defense and O line. the problem is, we wouldn't get much. Don't get me wrong, I like Devery and he is fast, but what are we keeping him for? There is no chance he will make the impact we want him to, so it's beyond time to move on.

I think it was a mistake to not improve our secondary and not put 17 in more. Put in 17 more, get us some help at CB, and put 23 back there with 25 since Duece is out and possibly gone, and we become a 8-2 team.

If Brees would stop throughing every other pass behind the receivers there might not be so many droped.

You're paid millions of dollars to make the tough catches.... ones that hit your hands.

6 drops sounds pretty bad but is the number of attempts taken into consideration? I know we do alot of passing so 6 drops may not be as bad for a pass happy team like ours.

6 drops is bad even if you had 50 attempts.
