It's never good to lose but a single loss doesn't mean the season is over.

A tiny nugget of gold can be found in the Saints Week 3 loss against the Eagles.

Alvin Kamara moved into 2nd place, passing Deuce McAllister, on the Saints All-Time Rushing Leader List.

Deuce finished his career as a Saint with 6,096 yards over 8 seasons, appearing in 97 games as a Saint.
He is now in 3rd place on the Saints All-Time Yards Rushing list.

In his eight seasons, having appeared in 104 games to date, AK41 now has 6,114 yards rushing.

Mark Ingram II holds the Saints All-Time Franchise Rushing mark with 6,500 yards. He played 10 seasons for the Saints appearing in 123 games.

Kamara needs another 387 yards to become the All-Time Leader for the Saints.
Barring injury, at some point this season Kamara will move into 1st place.

Kamara already holds several Saints All-Time Franchise Records.

1. Rushing Touchdowns - 58
2. Total Touchdowns - 83
3. Scrimmage Yards - 10,465
4. All-Purpose Yards - 11,129
5. Receptions by RB - 515
6. Receiving Yards by RB - 4,351
7. Receiving TDs by RB - 24
8. Games with Over 100 Yards From Scrimmage - 52
9. TDs in a single game - 6 (*** Tied NFL with Gayle Sayers - 1965 / with Dub Jones - 1951 / with Ernie Nevers - 1929 ***)

Everybody I am sure LITERALLY had this marked down as an L, so really nothing changed.

I think most realized we would face adversity at some point during this season, injuries, coaching gaffes, tough losses.....

The silver lining to me is that this tough loss while early was not against a divisional opponent and now we get to see how this Saints team responds....against a divisional opponent.....
