If the Jets beat the Dolphins this week, Rodgers will be begging to play the following week

It’s literally one of the most impressive and bizarre things I’ve ever heard of in sports.

I mean online it says for those that have surgery from a ruptured Achilles it takes about 9 months to get cleared for athletic activities. I’m sure that’s not counting NFL football.

This dude did it in 3 months. I mean it is unheard of.

It’s a new surgery and constant rehab too

Was that one of his "healer" docs that cleared him? He might be medically cleared, but still doubt he puts it on the line unless they are in the playoffs.

in a lot of cases, the most difficult aspect of a major injury is the mental portion. The athlete has been through the pain of the injury, the mental anguish of the injury and then the pain and anguish of a major surgery, recovery and then intensive rehab.

So when a player does come back it often takes them time to allow themselves to play as they once did out of a natural desire to not have to experience that injury and subsequent process again.

But I suppose if anyone can compartmentalize that - it would be Rodgers. 😆

just in time for my ff season to be done :mad1:

coulda been a contendah

wild recovery timeline. if his o-line can keep him clean this could turn out to be a great story for an otherwise boring season.

most experts didn't think Drew Brees would ever play football again, much less be one of the best players in NFL history after his surgery..
