Obviously, everyone on offenses has been pretty fantastic, but I noticed he looks like a different player this year. Very decisive, and seems to play a lot faster this year. He has made some bone crushing blocks as well. Just wanted to give him some props.

Was watching the Stinking Truth podcast and Schlerth was talking about how the Saints now have a lot of Tank plays, plays that they just call and run no matter what. I think this is helping him get really good at blocking. Helping the oline a lot too. When you can just Tee off and hit someone it is much better than having to make a few reads. Always felt that what PC did, with a lot of at the line changes and adjustments, was too passive and set the team up badly to be pushed around.

Me too. I would have told him to clear out his locker at half time of the first TB game last year. But his blocking has been great this year. Good on him! I like to see guys work hard and improve.

He has been a force as a lead blocker. The TEs, O line, FBs (Prentice and Hill), and WRs are all getting it done on run plays. It has been awesome to watch.

So far, and it's a small sample size, everybody has been engaging so very well with defenders, giving the backs options. It's fun to watch. Blockers don't have to blow people up. Engage them. Make them work to try and tackle. Just don't whiff.

Yeah his play has really stood out. These guys are feeding off of each other and the player buy in is incredible. To run the football in the NFL you have to be 100% committed mentally and physically because it's really tough. But they have bought in and they're out there playing for keeps. The film sessions have probably been a lot of fun.

His job has definitely been made easier now that he is moving around and seal blocks on designed angles as opposed to the tradition hat on a hat blocking.
