Yeah, Lane was the man. But this guy is pretty good and let's be honest, a lot of it has always been Jerry.

nope, very different with duvall, but still a great band, and yea a lot of the lyrics and creative process starts with cantrell

i know that Cantrell wrote most of the songs and he even started doing vocals when Staley was too fubarred...

but Staley was so good for AIC because his emotion was real...

staley had such an incredibly unique voice, and was extremely raw, but what really impresses me is how Cantrell is able to produce such perfect harmonies with duvall as well

He was amazing, I agree. But they could barely tour because of Lane's addiction. Duvall is good and every once and a while almost has a Lane-ish sounds.

EXACTLY! And to be honest, they should have changed the name and not hire a dude to mimic Staley. AIC was in my top 5 of everything that is music. Everytime i hear the NEW AIC I just long for the original.

I can see your point, and the song sounds good. I just loved Staley man, He and Dime's deaths felt like family members passing.
