With the upcoming game Thursday night for the potential division lead, it got me thinking about making the playoffs as the #4 seed. Would the stars line up for us that the top 3 seeds in some order would be Dallas, Arizona, and Detroit? All domed teams. In this scenario, the Saints would play in a dome no matter the matchup! Not to mention the Super Bowl is in a dome this year! I know the kwtpf thread may say otherwise for certain games, but I'm wondering if I should start pulling for those 3 teams no matter the matchup.

I will still hold out hope for one of the top 2 seeds until they're impossible to attain.
Further, 3 of our 4 losses this year have been in away Domes (well, 2 domes and 1 tent :hihi:), which tells me that we need to learn how to win on the road, period.

Im worried about Carolina. We may be a better team statistically but they've played their "hard" part of the schedule and we haven't. If we get in, though, I think we can do some damage.

My thoughts exactly.. Almost exactly like last year, where we thought we could cruise to 12-4 and rest some people heading into first round bye... the Panthers went on a streak while we shot ourselves in the foot a couple of times down the stretch and off we went to two freezer games

If we continue to run the ball 25+ times a game and stop turning the ball over, I love our chances to make and win in the playoffs.

I know what you mean. But it is hard to beat a team twice in the same year in this league. I would feel decent about our chances going up against any of the 3 again.
