Alvin Kamara is currently 1st in the NFL in Yards From Scrimmage. [And 1st in NFL in All-Purpose Yards] (1 Viewer)

Too bad he’s going to be beat to death before mid season. True warrior. Been on his fan wagon since I bagged the table for us to draft him in round 2 out of Tenn. Was elated when he lasted to round 3. He’s one of the guys on the team that deserves every dime he banks.

It'll be interesting to see how he holds up with this many touches over the course of the season. The pace he's going is about 400 touches for the season which is insane.

This is really a bad thing. It means there are not many options on the Saints offense. Outside of Shaheed, Olave, A.K there seems to be no one capable of making plays. Yeah i get there is Taysom but he is at tops a 6 or 7 touch player. That is a few runs a catch or two and a surprise pass. Other than that is main role is to keep defenses guessing.

In addition to leading the league in Total Yards From Scrimmage, he is currently the Leader in All-Purpose Yardage after 4 games in 2024.

Kamara is tied for 1st Place in Rushing TDs (Derrick Henry) with 5 after 4 games played in 2024.

Kamara is in a 3 way tie for 1st Place in Total TDs (Derrick Henry and Kyren Williams) with 6 after 4 games played in 2024.

Through the first 4 games of the 2024 season Kamara is in 1st Place in 1st Downs with 25.

Alvin leads all RBs in Receiving Yardage with 174 yards after 4 games played in 2024.

After 4 weeks, AK41 is 4th in Rushing Yards, averaging 90.5 yards per game. He is on pace to rush for over 1,500 yards. It would be the 1st time to rush for over 1,000.

Other Notes Of Interest:

Week 2 of 2024 brought Kamara's second career game with at least 150 yards and four touchdowns from scrimmage (previous was also the aforementioned Christmas game). The only players in the Super Bowl era with more such games are Hall of Fame backs LaDainian Tomlinson (four) and Marshall Faulk (three).

This was also Kamara's 12th career game with at least one touchdown rushing and receiving, tying Hall of Famer Lenny Moore and Eagles legend Brian Westbrook for the third-most such games in NFL history. Only Faulk and Christian McCaffrey have more (15 each).

After his TD in week 4 against ATL, Kamara moved up the NFL All-Time TD List into a 4-way Tie for 59th Place with 84 TDs.

He is now tied with Herchel Walker, Joe Perry, Andre Rison, and Calvin Johnson, all retired players.

People on here was saying he was washed and not worth the money.
CHURLISH
Interesting how the conversation went from AK is washed, not the same RB from ‘17-‘21, and can’t touch CMC to he’s being ran down into the ground once he’s outperforming CMC and every RB in the NFL.

When you have the NFL’s best RB this year, he has to be featured and fed at all costs. As long as the plays are diverse and creative and not make him prone to injury by constantly running him up the gut.

He’s never had a true workhorse season in carries (250-270+) like CMC until his projected pace this year. Kubiak is intent on running the offense through AK all 17 games and not just half of the season like SP and PC did. He has more fresh legs and durability than other RB1s at his age by having Ingram and Murray spell him over the years. Miller’s return could help AK’s run play selection be even more effective for bigger gains.

That's why I am hopeful for Miller to stay healthy and be there on the field for the duration of the season and hopefully into post season. It's crucial.
