I was at Rolls N Bowls on Metairie Rd a few summers ago. In walks Loomis and he walks to the register to make a take out order. Seems like he has never been to the restaurant before or ate Vietnamese food. He tells the guy:

“Gimme one of those shrimp things. And my son wants the noodle dish. I ll take a few of these. Whats the meat and noodle dish? I ll take it. You can add a plate of that stuff with the pork.”

I remember thinking, sounds like the restaurant is familiar with what he orders and he must go there often, but he has no clue what any of the items are called. Makes sense now to see where the saints are with everything. Anybody else have any strange encounters like this with him?

I was once in a dark room, and there were a lot of people wearing masks. Down was up, up was down. He may have been there. It may have been a Diddy freak off. I don’t know, it was all a blur.

Fat City in the 90s was a wild place.
I was there too. I just remember the smell of baby oil and a guy wearing sunglasses with dolphin teeth

I met him probably 20 years ago. They used to do a caravan with a few players, a few coaches and Loomis. They made a stop in Biloxi once a year for a few years in a row. Got to meet Deuce, BeerMan, Donte Stallworth, Norman Hand, Joe Horn, Fred Mcafee, Haslett and a few others. I think I was one of the very few that actually knew who Loomis was, so I got to talk to him a good bit. I can’t recall what we even talked about, just remember thinking he was a pretty nice guy at the time.

Met Brees at the Sam's on Airline in 2010. He tried a couple of the free samples and then needed help getting his credit card to work on his way out. Told me all I needed to know about the guy

No but i once saw Arnie Fielkow pumping fuel next to me at a gas station in Lakeview.. that’s a true story .
I think back in 2008 at the London game the night before there was a fan meet up.in a pub somewhere in London. I think Loomis turned up to it out of the blue if memory serves from what I read here back in the day.

My grandma told me the devil walked through Sunset LA years ago. I think it was Loomis.

I met while playing golf at the TPC in avondale right before Payton made the decision not to return. He was in the group right behind me and it was a slow day and he was parked on our tee box a few times. Also we knew someone who was playing with him so we chatted a bunch. great guy i thanked him for our one superbowl win(sincerely) and he said we should have had 3! Personally i trust him and i believe that he let's his coaches make there own decisions and he supports them fully. He's more of an administrator than a personel guy.
He just needs to make a good hire and we'll be good. He didn't really want DA, neither did MS Gayle from the beginning. They had no choice and no time to go looking for someone else.
