100,000 euro grant to do so....for small towns.

Not a bad deal.
I thought I saw a little quip about Italians abroad being amongst those on the list to allowed to be given 100,000 euros as well as Italian residents from other parts of the peninsula. Are these the only two categories of people or are non-Italian Europeans from nearby E.U. countries, U.K. (Italy has long had a pretty sizable British expat community since the early 19th century, particularly in Rome), or here in the USA and Canada?

Yeah didn't catch that part. Italians or Italians abroad.
I'm assuming meaning Italian citizenship.

Oh well...was nice to dream for a moment. Lol

Me and some buddies looked into buying one of those villas for $1. That’s something we may do down the road but it’s expensive to restore to it’s original glory and people we know who have done it said someone has to be there 24/7 overseeing it or people will never show up for work. It has to be done in a certain time frame so it has to be managed.

Just got off of a video call with an old friend of mine who’s been living in Italy for the last few years.. She absolutely loves it, but unfortunately recently had to relocate back to America (California) for work reasons.. ive never been to Italy, though it’s at the very top of my list.. i do qualify for citizenship by descent, but id never move there permanently since i am now too used to super-cheap Asian prices .. Also fwiw everyone i know who’s spent time in Italy seems to love Florence.. which wasn’t really on my radar but there must be something to it .
