Dennis Allen (15-38 career record) is staying as our head coach. Pete Carmichael is staying. We have the second oldest roster in the NFL (9 more average days and we would be the oldest). We have no first round draft pick (hopefully we pick something up with SP but who knows). Much of this falls on the GM who is too busy managing two major sports teams.

Just keep doing what you're doing guys....

Edit: for those saying our situation the last two years is similar to the Patriots after they lost Tom Brady….did Dennis Allen ever win a superbowl? Does he have a winning record like Belichick?

Edit 2: for those saying their opinion depends on the SP trade. When has Loomis made a trade favorable to the Saints franchise in the last decade? The guy traded Reggie Bush and Sproles away for 6th round picks.

I'm ready when yall are!

@ me when we are good to go.

Question: besides (1) hiring Payton, and (2) kicking cap can to implement Payton's plans, has Loomis ever made a good decision for the Saints?

You guys really don't understand do you... THIS is what we did for the first 40+ years of Saints existence... I know.. I have had season tickets since 1967... No stability.. NONE... We hire Hank Stram and gave him 1.5 years and fired him... We had a damnned astronaut as a GM for awhile

ML has brought stability and sanity to the organization. I am no big fan of DA.. In fact I hated the hire. but jumping up and down demanding a firing of DA or else ML needs to be fired reeks of the 60's - 90's Saints. Let the man do his job.

"Howie has been hated and loved, then hated again, then loved again," Eagles center Jason Kelce says. "It just shows you that being the general manager is really hard. There are a lot of things that go into that job. But I've been really happy to see him persevere through all that. It's tough, especially in this city."
