Before i even glanced at this article [FA grades] (57 Viewers)

I actually like Young being retained and love the Reid signing. We shall see how it all plays out. What caught my eye from that write up was this about the Texans:

Maybe the Houston Texans really did need to take a stick of dynamite to their offensive line.

Their line was horrible last season, a big reason C.J. Stroud regressed from a magical rookie season. A report from SI.com said the offensive line room was "borderline toxic," and behind-the-scenes strife like that leads to moves that don't make a lot of sense on the surface. But teams know what they have to do.

O line matters fo sho.

"That's not helping the Saints get their salary cap issues under control"

Oh, you mean those salary cap issues we've pretty handedly gotten under control?

Just remember, when you are (people in general) saying “a player is projected this round or that” your generally getting your info from weird people with no sense of logic like the writer of that article.

This is why they’re always so incredibly wrong by a landslide.

I knew what the grade would be.

Not face palming you. I did it to the guy that put that garbage together. He doesn't have all the information for the Saints on there and some of the other teams too. That's crappy journalism or whatever you call that. I'd give us at the least a C+ so far, because I don't believe the Saints are done yet.

I like the Reid signing. I'm happy we were able to retain Young, but I'm not in love with his deal. If we were a team with extra cap money and wanted to take a shot on a high risk, high reward player, it would be a great move. We need a lot and can't afford to make mistakes.

Ya. Even if you hate every restructure, every addition, an “F” is pretty comical. To this writer, there is no answer except an “F”. If the Saints would have sat there, let every player in question leave, they would have received an “F” for not signing anyone.
