In his postgame interview:"It wasn't as competitive of a game as we needed it to be. Sean did a lot better job than I did. You have to give them a lot of credit, they’re a good football team, but that doesn’t lessen the hurt on our side. We have a lot of work to do to compete with a team of this caliber. They’re a lot better than us."
All in all, I thought his speech was really classy, and I have gained back a little respect for him because of it.
Also, relatedly, Tom Brady had this to say:
"They’re a great team and we didn’t play so well. There’s obviously a big gap between us."

"They were better than we were in every phase of the game," Belichick said in the postgame news conference. "I don't know any other way to put it. They were better coached. They played better on offense, defense, in the kicking game, they covered better than we did. They were obviously the better team. You guys had to see that. You were at the game."
