Looking for a good fishing game for Wii and before I go spend $50-60, I'd like some opinions.

Right now I'm kind of debating between Hooked and Cabela's

Any opinions and why?

I've been waiting for a decent fishing game to come out for the Wii since it's release. Unfortunately it seems us fishing enthusiasts still have to wait. The ones that have been released have been smashed by reviewers. I try not to base my decision on reviews, but when it's constant low scores across the board you generally get a good idea the game is garbage. The major complaints on these games I've seen are responsiveness, graphics, and being more frustrating than fun.

And before anyone mentions it, Zelda is NOT a fishing game.

This is the only one Ive seen that got even half way decent reviews. All others have ranged from bad to horrible. This one doesnt look like a traditional fishing sim though, but Ive never played it. There are 2 coming out later this year that I know of. One at the end of February made by Sega and the other one late in the year made by Activision using the Cabela license. Your best bet would be to try the one I linked if you find it interesting or wait for one of these two. Or pray that "Super Black Bass" or "Bassins Black Bass with Hank Parker" become virtual console downloads.

Here are some examples of the terrible reviews received by Wii fishing games:
