Listening to my dad's original vinyl of Thin Lizzy's 'Live and Dangerous reminded me of the unique greatness that comes with a well done live album. So many more things go into the success of a live album than with a regular one - set list choices, the crowd, interactions, the occasion and how good the performers are. These things all came together on this classic LP and it's had me hooked for days. I need to go out and buy some more live records. What are your favorite live albums ever made?

Play this video from 35:45 up through when the chords from the Cowboy Song blend into the Boys Are Back In Town, just wow. Who cares if this album was touched up in the studio, moments like that are what music is all about
