I understand it’s part of Gillikin’s job as our punter to hold on place kicks, but it stood out for me Sunday. On the game winning kick, Blake was perfect getting the snap down on the snap which I thought was slightly high. He spun the ball around and got the ball ready for Lutz. Timing is crucial and I thought his play there was key. I know all this is obvious but for some reason his hold stood out for me on the kick. Just wanted to give him a shout out.

Yeah it’s an awesome hold. The snap looks fine to me. I wonder if we can legally do a fake FG pooch kick punt?!

Yeah i understand. It’s just for some reason it stood out to me. Maybe I just then noticed how there is zero margin of error for the holder to catch, spin and get the ball in perfect position for the kicker.
