It's 35 degrees outside tonight and in the live oak in my neighbors back yard I see what looks to be hundreds of fireflies. The tree is about 50 yds from where I am at and they seem somewhat dim compared with regular fireflies, so I can't see them really clearly. I have never in all of my years seen anything like this during this time of year and in this kind of cold. Even stranger is that they don't have the same yellowish colored light as a regular firefly, but more a bluish color. My best guess is that it may actually be tiny static discharges all over the tree, but I've never seen anything like that either. The color of the "fireflies" light certainly fit that description though. Anybody have any clues?

And before anybody asks It's definitely not Christmas lights or ice. It literally looks like tiny twinkling stars flying in the tree. I tried taking video, but my phone won't pick it up. Tried taking a burst shot and it won't take in low light.

What's your address? I am coming over to see that.

Get out of there now! These are fire fly wights. A white walker must be nearby to have resurrected these poor fire flies against you. Like wight dragons, spitting blue flames, fire fly wights emit an ominous blue glow.

Dear god...you may already be dead and a wight yourself now. The severe cold sweeping the nation, the bomb cyclone? Winter is Coming indeed. It is here and none of us are safe. Run man, if it's not too late.
