Was there a recent board update? My phone has been acting funny on here for a couple days. In the middle of quick replies my keyboard randomly closes.

I posted on tech board.

Last week i had updated my OS ( Samsung 21+) and all of a sudden when i would reply ( with poster quoted ) my reply would end up in quote box.

on regular posts, my cursor would jump around and end up 3 words or so back and also act like i hit enter 10 times


I thought it was my update to my phone OS?

I thought it might be ads jumping to the front but it's done it a few times now with no ad behind it

Same thing happening with my replies, I thought I was just having spastic fingers. I have a Samsung tablet that I use at home, but no updates for me.

There were many site updates perfomed last week to the site software, addons, etc. There are often bugs in some of the addons when new versions of the forum software is released as they are sometimes rushed and not tested properly, however they are most often fixed in subsequent updates once recognized.

That being said, I haven't had any issues on either my desktop or iPhone.

Using Chrome on a PC, I can search both functions, but it now opens into a window of it's own instead of a small static window in the corner.

Yep, looks like the search function was changed to a new page (https://saintsreport.com/advancedsearch/), so it seems to be treated like a button instead of a search bar. You can see that by hovering over but not clicking the 'Search' at the top right and you'll see the web address in the lower left corner of your browser.
