Brees back to chase 2nd Super Bowl for Saints (1 Viewer)

The NFC South has the FEWEST wins in the Super Bowl of any NFC conference (Bucs & Saints with 1 each). Neither here nor there, but three of the four NFCS teams represent small markets.

Let's get another one, and send Christopher DREW Brees out on top!

well yea. We have two of the younger franchises and 2 teams that lost for decades. The other divisions have long histories and dynasties. It would take our whole division probably two more decades just to catch some of the other individual teams.

The four division concept started in the 2002 season.

Actually, I stand corrected BIG TIME. NFCN (GRB) & NFCW (SEA) have only 1 Super Bowl win each since '02.

NFCE: (NYG-2; PHL-1)

NFCS: (TAM-1; NOS-1)

I see. I would consider that a technicality though. The teams are still the Giants, Cowboys, Redsomethings and Eagles. There is no way for me to look at them in terms of Superbowls and Discount the ones they got during Dynasty Years. Could be just because I am old lol. And I know it is a what have you done for me lately league but it doesn't matter how old we are or how many other divisions the Saints might go to, that 2009 season will always be special to us.

If you have access to the data, I would be interested in understanding the counts by division for Superbowl appearances.

Didn’t Eli and the giants win 2? 2007 and 2011?
