Unlike Rogers who has never had a 4th quarter comeback win against a team above 500, Brees shows why he is 100% better than Rodgers.

Brees is the closest thing the NFL has had to a prime level Peyton Manning since 2011.

It is a travesty that Rodgers was ever propped up as "the best quarterback in the league". Look at how productive Manning still was after his prime. Manning in Denver had some great years when he should've been declining. It's no different than how Brady, Brees, Favre and even John Elway still put up career years in their mid to late 30's.

Rodgers had a window of about 5 years (2010 to 2014) where he was great. Since then, he's been an average quarterback who is slightly above average or down right mediocre.

I believe it says a lot about the greatness of a QB when they can still be productive and MVP caliber level after their prime. Rodgers has been bad for over 3 years now.

Give us the details of the record please.
That's on me. I was moving and merging threads, and lost one title before writing the next. I'll edit it out. :covri:

Ties Manning for most in a season (7). They robbed Drew who was better in every category by a big margin to give it to manning because they viewed the comebacks as more mvp worthy. Hopefully that same logic just secured Drew his first MVP against Mahomes

To be specific, he tied the record for game winning drives with 7.

Manning still holds the record for 4th quarter comebacks with 7.

One of the game winning drives for Brees was not a comeback win vs the Rams. We were never behind in the 4th quarter, only tied.

The 4th qtr drive last week and the 4th qtr drive this week shows you what a master Brees is!

And it's funny how announcers know chapter and verse of "their teams" injuries, but never really point out the Saints injuries - esp those of the Offensive Line.

Because knowing the depth of the Saints injuries - esp the O Line - makes those 4th qtr drives even more amazing!

Geaux Drew!!!

Thanks my friend, good distinction; I was unaware.

Pro Football Reference says Stafford has the record with 8 GWD.

I didn't realize he had the record.

That team was 9-7. So 8 of those 9 wins were in come from behind fashion in the 4th quarter. Guess which team they didn't need a comeback? The Saints.

They also were in 6 of their 7 losses within 1 score in the 4th.

Heart pounding season to say the least.
