...coach B says: turnover differential + explosive play differential = toxic differential. Saints dont break the top 10 of that list for the year so far....unless they start factoring in Popeye's consumption, then the Saints be in dat number :hihi: texans top the list currently, then cowboys, lions ,9r's, bears, and so on.....

Sounds like a bunch of horse ****

So basically teams that protect the ball, get turnovers and make big plays have a good chance of being successful? Go figure

Brian Billick is a genius....

He're my new stat : Per Game Point Differential (PGPD)

Basically, you take Points Scored - Points allowed (PS-PA) in each game, individually. My theory suggests that if you up on the plus side, more often than not you're going to win the game. However, if you are on the negative side, you will probably lose. I will begin keeping track this week to see JUST how accurate it is.

Yea in 2009 we had the best point differential.
You can't get more basic than that. How many points do you give up vs how many points do you score. That one has always been my favorite.
Doesn't matter how you keep the opponents score down. Be it ball control, forcing fumbles and interceptions or most 3 and outs. Does not matter. VS how many points do you score. Do you have 1 long drive that eats up the clock each qtr and score on all of them. Does your defense intercept balls and give you great field position, Do you get the ball and each time get 30 to 40 yards then punt except once each qtr you score quickly.
points for vs points against.

GB 35.6 opponents 20.7 9-0
Saints 31.3 opponents 22.8 7-3
Houston 27.3 opponents 16.6 7-3
N.E. 28.8 opponents 22.2 6-3
ATL 23.6 opponents 21.8 5-4
NYG 24.2 opponents 23.4 6-3
SF 25.9 opponents 15.3 8-1
Tells me that AtL is about at the record they should be. Same with SF and GB.
Houston should have a better record but lost to OAK BAL and Saints.
NYG will not win the division especially with their remaning schedule SAINTS,GB, DAL twice and PHI.
