SAME STATE, DIFFERENT TEAM?
On Friday, the Detroit Lions agreed to trade defensive tackle Shaun Rogers to the Cincinnati Bengals. The trade somehow fell through.
Now, Rogers could still be coming to Ohio. But as a member of the Browns.
Nicholas Cotsonika of the Detroit Free Press, citing an unnamed source, reports that the Lions are working on a deal with Cleveland.
Earlier on Friday, the Browns sent a second-round pick to the Packers for defensive tackle Corey Williams.

Wow....Are the Browns going for the Heavy Lunch Bunch scheme?

I want Rogers in black and gold, but him going to the Bengals meant we had a better chance at Dorsey or Ellis....this is just not good news.

Dude... Rodgers may be fat.... but he is no Norman Hand...this guy has a motor and you would be glad to see him in B & G ....

Yeah that's true about him having a motor but for all practical purposes the guy is a 2-tech. Regardless, the post wasn't meant to be taken literally. I was just pointing out tongue in cheek that they are on the verge of getting two 300-plus defensive tackles in one day.
