I'm not sure how this guy made a name for himself as a recieving TE. I guess because he plays with Favre? His high in the past 3 seasons in 232 yards in 14 games. Hes been hurt several times during that span also.

I'd say pass. Johnson is better then he is.

Injuries. His body is depleting.

Like Bonchie said, Eric Johnson is much better than Bubba.

Bubba is a 2nd string TE.

He hasn't played a full season his entire career. He only started one game last year for the Packers. My guess is we all know his name because in 2002 and 2004 he had 7 TD's in each season. So that probably made alot of highlight reels. After looking at this guys career I have no idea why we even know who this guy is. Hes an average at best recieving TE. Maybe hes a good blocker?
 
This draft class has some really good te's. Bubba probably needs to be taken out behind the barn, and put out of his misery.
 
Bubba Franks is HUGE !!! I don't know where this receiving TE perception came in, he was a first rounder who never developed, but he is an excellent blocker. Crumpler is superior to Franks, but if we didn't get Crump we could get Franks as a blocking TE. I think he's like 6' 4 270 lbs....he's a defensive end basically.
