Can you take stills from a WMP video? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know how to get a still shot from a video? I am trying using the print screen key, then I paste it into Paint, but as soon as I close the picture disappears. The section that is video goes blank. Anyone have any ideas?

If you have an older version of wmp, than ctrl+I should/might work.

If you have version 11 (which is awful); try this:

Go to Tools > Options > Performance Tab > click the Advanced Button at the bottom > then uncheck the
'"overlay" button. Once unchecked, using regular good old print screen should capture the screenshot.
