I read that he stood out at the Saints Pro Day, but I didn't know much about him. He played at Southeastern La. last year. Looks like he may be a Taysom Hill type player? I don't know if he'll get drafted, but I wonder if the Saints could bring him in after the draft? He could be a training camp superstar....

Even though he is 6'5... he actually has smaller hands than Taysom!

He's not as big as Taysom bulk wise. Seems skinnier. But can he play other positions like Taysom?

He'd be an undrafted free agent. Low risk, high reward type signing. He'd be lucky to make the practice squad...but, he maybe a diamond in the rough type player. If he's half of what Taysom is, he'd be worth bringing in.

So, I take it you didn't bother reading the article....
Don't need to. I know what Taysom's role is and has been and having watched many SLU games I know what Cephus is and I do not think they are the same. Chances are my ad blocker will make the website not let me read the article anyways.

Ok... I'll summarize it for you, he's a spark plug, who could serve as an emergency QB in a pinch. He has much potential. He's an amazing athlete. He's is similar to Taysom in that he can serve a dual roll as a QB and a pretty good WR. I'll quote Mike Detillier here, "He's a good football player. And if there's one thing every team needs, it's good football players."
