Champion' Garage (1 Viewer)

I am first time STH and I decided to get a parking pass this year. I've never had any complaints parking in the dome garages. I was only able to get a pass for Champion's Garage and i have never parked there. Does anyone park there and have any insight to how it is? Thanks

Never parked in it for a Saints game but considering I park on O'Keefe near Howard and have to pass in front of Champions Garage after most games, it seems like an absolute nightmare trying to get out, especially if you're up a few levels on say the 3rd, 4th, 5th level, or higher.

If you're trying to head towards Loyola, there's the traffic coming out of Champions and the traffic emptying from the other Girod Street garage on the other side the tunnel on top of the traffic that's already on Loyola.

If you're trying to head to I-10 around the Smoothie King Center, you have the traffic from Champions Garage along with Garage 2 from the Dome emptying out and the little surface lots thats between Champions and the SKC.

You'd come out ahead going catch a drink or dinner somewhere right after the game if you don't want to fight the traffic.

I don’t park in elevated garages for Saints games because they are nightmares getting out. I always park street level.

When I parked there I was on the top lot. It took at least a hour or two to get out.
