Charlotte Tailgating details -- Nov. 25 (1 Viewer)

I have been extremely busy the past few months, so it's taken me a long time to get things together. But, here is the information on tailgating in Charlotte of the Nov. 25 game. The party is "ON".

Regarding what to bring, let's organize that in this thread. Just post in here if there is something particular you would like to bring. Everyone can read the thread and I'll keep a running tab of what everyone is supposed to bring.

Also let me know if you are interested in pitching in on a keg of Abita Amber. The keg has been ordered. I pick it up Saturday afternoon.

SaintMike is bringing his bus and will park it in the same lot I was set up in last year (some of you remember). See the map below:

The building between S. Graham St. and S. Mint St. (across S. Graham from the stadium) is the Residence Inn. That is where I am staying. The tailgating lot is next to the little read pointer on S. Mint St. -- it's the parking lot, not the grass field.

If anything changes, I'll post here. PM me your cell phone number if you plan to attend. I'll touch bases with you by phone as well. I'll get into town on Saturday and will not leave until Monday.

OK, everyone. I think we have enough people going in on the keg that it's a "go". I'll let everyone know how much to pitch in once I finalize the price. I call Tuesday to place the order.

Now, on to the important stuff -- what to bring. Everyone is asking "what do you want me to bring." Heck, I don't know what to tell you, so I'll give everyone two options:

1. Everyone post what they would like to have at the party and I'll ask (beg) people to bring stuff.

2. Just tell us what you would like to bring, and we'll hold you to it.

I prefer option 2.

one note: So far, the only grill we have is a small propane grill that I will be bringing. It is good for heating stuff up only -- not a good option for actually cooking food. If someone lives fairly close and has a truck and nice grill, that would work out pretty nicely.

Hey I'll try to pass by if I can find it (never been to Charlotte so not good with directions). I'll be with my wife and some other friends so depending on how late we party the night before I will try to stop by just to say hello and hang with a few actual Saints fans. If we do get there early enough and its ok i'll just throw some money at you for the keg if we stay for a bit. No biggie if I can't though. Hope to run into everyone.

I will check on grill as well but I will be in car not my truck so I can't bring anything real big.
