Before COVID the locker room was laid out by position groups, WRs next to WRs, Oline next to Oline, etc. That changed during COVID, they had placed players randomly next to each other to prevent COVID from wiping out entire position groups. To no one's surprise Dennis Allen never changed anything when he took over and COVID concerns subsided. Coach Rizz has changed the locker room layout back to position groups as he feels it will help create team comradery.

Here is the whole article.

Like SERIOUSLY? No wonder players look awkward chemistry-wise! That plays huge in the locker room! Players will often find themselves playing for one another due to their assigned spot! Accountability, pressure to succeed, healthy adversity, and motivation to prove worth to teammates!

man honestly. guy hasnt coached a game.

but he might be what the saints need to at least get thru the next 2-3 years of rebuild. get cap right, build thru the draft, and if after 2-3 years hes not cutting it, then the next coach would have a good cap position, hopefully a decent core, etc.

right now, team is in shambles. no coach will be able to come in and lead the NFCS next year. theres just too much

unless u go the MCDC route, and let him go 4-19-1 to build the team his way. hes likes 26/27-8 since.

I mean I like it. Listen it would have been nice for Allen to adjust to the curveballs being thrown at him. He just kept chopping wood, but life provided him many opportunities to adjust the way he was doing things. He didn't, oh well... I like it.

I like it, too, and I'm not sure why. It might be because for such a seemingly small managerial decision, it may actually turn out to be a harbinger of some more meaningful things. And it might be simply because ... AT LEAST IT'S A CHANGE OF SOMETHING. lol

?!?

I think there is nothing wrong with him making immediate changes.

Why should he have to coach a couple of games before he starts making changes?
I wasn't referring to the locker room change, just oh wow reaction to it.
