Has averaged 775 yds, 74 receptions and 3.5 TDs over the past 4 years with a catch rate of 71.8% of his targets.

He moves the sticks first and foremost.

And he's missed only 4 games over the past 8 years. He's going to be there for you.

Oh and he'll come cheap. Much cheaper than Landry.

Very good player but sorry I’d pass because of his age and how outspoken he has been about COVID-19 rules for unvaccinated players. Certainly his choice to choose. Read somewhere where he tallied around $100,000 in COVID fines and missed games last year because he refused to follow protocol. Any time you can avoid negativities and distractions in the locker room your better of. I’m hoping we draft two WR’s that are great prospects and anxious to contribute from day one. Not in favor of cranky old veterans threatening to retire if this or that is enforced against them. Sounds like maybe the game of football has become second fiddle. If that is the case, how important is winning? Current Saints roster is build so much better than that. Not surprised the Bills let him walk. If the Saints do sign him that’s fine, but hopefully we see him return to that tough (undrafted) kid fighting for a roster spot and encouraging his younger teammates. Getting open and catching a football, if that’s all were looking for, no doubt he’s proven he can do that (JMO).

I think Sanders may have one more year left in him
Would be very cheap, knows the system and did not have a bad year last year

Age, nope. He's in the same category as AJ and Julio, great 6 years ago but is now past their prime.

I just knew we would get some silly stance about not wanting him because of his vaccine stance. And if the protocols weren't completely stopped, I could see your point.

I don’t understand the desire to sign these slow receivers.

I mean, we need some speed at WR, but we also need more guys that can just get open. We basically had nobody that could do that last year other than Harty who has to create a lot of separation to be open at 5'6". So, I'm fine bringing in a slower slot guy to increase our 3rd down conversion rate and take pressure off of Thomas to catch every 3rd down pass. But, I do think we need to find a speed guy to in a trade, free agency, or the draft. Problem is I don't think there are really any good speed guys available as free agents so we likely need to to the trade route or the draft to get a receiver with deep speed.

Exactly this. Find a reliable FA WR option who can catch and help move the chains. Look to the draft for that talented playmaker who can make those big plays

Cole Beasley official 40 time 4.59

Mike Thomas official 40 time 4.57

DeAndre Hopkins 4.57

DeVante Adam’s 4.56

Antonio Brown 4.56

Cooper Kupp 4.62

Allen Robinson 4.6

I could on about the ridiculousness of your post, but I won’t.

He's a better option than Landry in my opinion. Landry is not quick and his routes tend to be shallow because of that lack of quickness. Honestly, is Landry exponentially better than Calloway as a number 2?

Beasley would give us that Lance Moore type of slot receiver we desperately need.
