Saints Color Rush as new Saints' unis? {Not an announcement} (1 Viewer)

After announcing a new voice for the Saints (and a great choice at that), I was thinking that the Saints should change their unis to the Color Rush unis. Nike could come up with an all black Color Rush with gold and white strips on the sleeves and pants. Team could alternate jerseys and pants. Just an idea.

definitely thought this was an announcement and I'm now bummed. The color rush whites should be our new primary away look. I still like the traditional gold pants black jersey look for home (R.I.P. gold pants)

Usually I’d agree with the “nothing beats the classics” look, but our color rush unis blows our classics out of the water. They actually blow any uni out of the water.

I know you all adore the color rush... but we are the black and gold. I’m cool with seeing them here snd there. But it just flat out doesn’t do it for me. Black jerseys and the OG gold pants is the look. As soon as Nike figures out what gold is supposed to look like we will be in good shape.

I don’t think you can improve on perfection. I’d go black on black before messing with color rush whites. If we switch I’d prefer a white helmet. The black helmet just wouldn’t match as well.

Our color rush should be our “permanent” white jerseys. Obviously, we could opt to wear white with gold pants etc sometimes. That color rush just looks fantastic.

I wouldn't mind the color rush as the official "away" jersey if we can have the this retro as the "home" jersey

Matching the gold with the helmet would be essential.



Add in a "new" style black pants and you can have 6 different looks.

For me it is about matching the gold. I am not big fan of the black helmets. I did see a nice white helmet.

The best combination is white on white. The worst is black on black.

I think our uniforms are flawless and timeless, but if I was going to update them, and the helmet rule changes:

I’d 1000% do color rush + white helmet and updated throwback black jersey with black pants and a black helmet.

Keep the gold helmet and gold pants as an alternate to either.

It’s the stripes on the sleeves for me. They look so tough. Old school with a touch of new.
