I really liked Will Harris.

Now we have a need at Safety. But I have to assume they must be looking at an upgrade. We certainly could have matched 2 years for $8 million if we wanted too. I have to think that they are looking at some upgrades.

I know that Staley needs Safeties that can both move into the box and can play deep coverage so maybe he felt that Harris didn't fit the system since he's really an in the box safety only.

Given our safety situation, you would think that if the Saints were really sold on Harris, this was a contract they could have easily matched.
