The league should be ordered to give us a first round pick as compensation for there stupidity. They Love taking picks when someone does something wrong how about when THEY do something wrong?

People who paid for tickets to the game should be given a FULL REFUND, PLUS $100 for gas. Also if you stayed in the NOLA, you should be given your moeny back for the Hotel you stayed inefund ALL monies to accounts paid before the game! Season Ticket Holder's should be given AT LEAST a $50 Food Voucher for EACH game at home next year, and if not used for one game, it can be carried over to future games for next years season. (That would be $600 for 10 games.) Also give us HALF PRICE on Next Years Season Ticket Package!! The Saints can pay us back, and Gayle can send the NFL the final bill!!!
SOME of the above CAN be done! Will it give us our win back no, BUT it would be the FAIR/RIGHT thing to do!! It would give us "some" of our monetary/time and comittment back. Our hearts and souls will NEVER be mended!!

I can actually see a scenario where the league actually threatens the Saints with some sort of sanctions if they continue to talk about it.

They try to fine us for complaining about that call, they're going to be even more worse off than they are.

Everyone who says “compensation” would be fair needs to realize that THE POWER TO GIVE COMPENSATORY PICKS FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS COMES FROM RULE 17, SECTION 2, SAME AS REPLAYING THE GAME.

So if they’re going to use rule 17, section 2, why not just fix the actual mistake.
