In the next few weeks, if the teams with the better record win their games this could play out.

The only craziness happens in our division. Which honestly doesn't seem crazy in our division with their schedule.

- Falcons win out
- Bucs only beat Carolina
- Saints only lose to Falcons

#4 Falcons (9-8)
#6 Saints (9-8)
#7 Tampa Bay (8-9)

Thought that was interesting. Retribution for the NFC South or condemnation of the NFC as a whole.

That would be wild stoke by the football gods and then watch, we’d see nobody get fired on all three teams, and then all the fan forums would spontaneously explode. Be exciting.

Atlanta winning out is a major stretch.

Bucs win out

Saints Lose to Both LA and TB + Beat ATL

ATL loses to IND and NO

MIN lose out to Det 2x and GB

------

= Saints the 7th seed.

I don't have any confidence that we can beat either the Rams or TB to be honest, so this is my best hope.

---

Thursday's night game is super important.

If we win, It can put us as the 6th seed and we can play Dee-troit again.

All the Saints need to do is beat LA and ATL, and they clinch the playoffs.

It doesn't matter what else happens.

In this scenario, if GB also beats one of Carolina or Chicago (pretty much a guarantee) then they’d also be 8-9 and above the Saints on H2H, so we’d miss out.

Would remind me of the NFC from about 10 years ago they had a run got 2 Sbs during it too

If we beat the Rams, we still have to worry about Seattle now. Their last three games are winnable.

I read somewhere if we beat rams Thursday we have like 80 percent chance of making playoffs as either wild card or division winner.
