Buyer beware, I've always used Dawn for the dishes, the apple scent, IDK, guess I like green. Anyway, I keep a large bottle under the sink and fill a pump on the counter. Imagine my surprise when I grabbed the bottle and noticed that I wasn't using Dish soap but antibacterial hand soap, not the grease fighting, baby duck cleaning stuff that's it's known for. What the hell Dawn?

My mind is blown.

I now also have to deep dive on chloroxylenol

What about the Power wash, though? That's what I use.

Little known fact - Dawn is an EXCELLENT, non-toxic fire ant killer. ( or any ant )

Since i have 2 dogs, i use it exclusively and can attest to its ability to decimate a mound within minutes.
And I'm back in. I didn't know this. How do you do it? Like how much do you use? I need deets.

It will also kill fleas, but use it sparingly. It will dry their skin out. The best bet is to have your
pet on a once a moth flea pill

i typically use about half a cup in a gallon bucket, fill up half way ( i figure the more dawn in water mix, the better ) or just a bit more.

When filling, use hose on half or you will end up with 3/4 suds and 1/4 mix lol. you want more mix than suds ( but suds work also )

Since i have a slight sadistic attitude toward fire ants, i usually stir up the mound and poke several deep holes, wait for them to swarm.

Pour.

Lawn chair to view the carnage.

I usually do two buckets like that. Sometimes ill even come behind the pour with hose/jet nozzle and suds up the ground as much as i can.

Oh and it does not harm your lawn either.
