Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell and his family have moved to a new home in the metro area, forced to list their former house for sale out of security fears including a doxxing of their personal information.

Crain’s Detroit Business reported the Campbells’ address got out online, leading to pranks and harassment on multiple occasions. After the Lions lost to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC title game in January, the family filed a police report over harassment, Fox 2 Detroit reported.

The publication said Campbell and his wife, Holly, bought what it described as a 7,800 sq ft Cape Cod-style “mansion” in Oakland County, Michigan, in 2021.

“The home is beautiful,” Campbell told Crain’s. “It’s just that people figured out where we lived when we lost.”…….

Weird story. Doesn’t seem like it would be all that hard for any coach’s residence to become public knowledge, especially if they own the place.

That's one reason, and I'm assuming it's still so, that many celebrities like New Orleans, because they get treated like everybody else.

Respect.

Yeah, that's a good point

As long as the house is in his name usually u can find the info on a tax assessors website.

But I agree. How dumb can u be. He’s the best thing that’s happened to that team and you go harass him. Let ppl live their private life.

I don't think this is team/city specific. There are terrible people in all cities, who are fans of all teams. The worst just makes the most noise.
I missed it when a Payton or Allen had to sell their houses. You'll have a hard time convincing me that fans from the NFCN aren't the worst collectively in the NFL.

When i was kid growing up in St Charles Parish, then-head coach of the Saints Bum Philips lived in our neighborhood.. he was famous for never wearing his cowboy hat indoors, like in the Superdome, because his momma taught him that.. so when passing his house, which was on the main boulevard- it was easy to tell whether or not he was home, because if he was home he would take off his cowboy hat and place it into the bay window that jutted out the side of the house, and had a big window facing the street .. That’s a true story .
